These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the Pet Portrait website (pet-portrait.co). By using the site and our services, you accept these Terms in their entirety.
2. Service Description
Pet Portrait provides AI-powered custom artistic portrait generation services for pets. The service includes:

generated from your uploaded photo

watercolor, oil painting, cartoon, sketch, digital, vintage
📧 Email delivery
high-resolution PNG file
⚡ Fast generation
usually 1–2 minutes
3. Content Restrictions
⚠️ Accepted content
The service is intended exclusively for pet portraits. We do not accept photos of people, explicit content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
We do not accept requests involving:
- ✕Photos of people (visible human faces)
- ✕Sexually explicit or violent content
- ✕Copyrighted images you do not own
- ✕Content that could be used to deceive or manipulate
- ✕Animals in situations of abuse or suffering
4. Product Nature and Return Policy
⚠️ IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Our products are customized digital goods, created specifically for each customer.
Under applicable consumer protection law:
- • EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU
- • Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU (digital content exception)
📌 By placing an order and completing payment, you confirm that:
- ✓You agree that processing begins immediately upon payment
- ✓You understand the product is personalised and cannot be returned
- ✓You waive your right of withdrawal for this digital product
- ✓You have verified the accuracy of your details before paying
Accordingly, we do not offer refunds on processed orders, as portraits are generated automatically and personalised immediately after payment is confirmed.
5. Exceptions to the No-Refund Policy
Exceptionally, we may consider refund or redo requests in the following situations:
🔧 Technical error on our end
if portraits were not delivered due to a technical problem we could not resolve
💳 Accidental double charge
if the system processed the same order twice
🚨 Proven fraud
in cases of fraudulent use of your payment method
Requests must be sent to contact@pet-portrait.co within 7 days of the order date.
6. Prices and Payments
All prices displayed on the site are:

Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay — We do not store card details.
7. User Obligations
By using the service, you agree to:
- ✓Provide clear photos of pets that you have the right to use
- ✓Verify your details before completing payment
- ✓Not use the service for illegal or unauthorised purposes
- ✓Not attempt to disrupt the functioning of the site
- ✓Not redistribute portraits for commercial purposes without written consent
8. Intellectual Property
The generated portraits are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use.

✕ What you cannot do
- • Use for commercial purposes
- • Resell the portraits
- • Create derivative works for sale
- • Remove branding or attribution
9. Limitation of Liability
- •The service is provided "as is", without express or implied warranties regarding artistic quality
- •We do not guarantee that the portrait will match the customer's subjective aesthetic expectations
- •We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
- •Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the order
- •We are not liable for errors caused by unclear or low-quality photos provided by the user
10. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for failure to perform our obligations due to force majeure events, including: natural disasters, wars, acts of terrorism, strikes, internet or electricity outages, or failures of third-party services (Stripe, AI providers, cloud storage) that we rely upon.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be published on this page with the date of last update. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with consumer protection legislation applicable in your jurisdiction. For EU customers, mandatory consumer protections under the EU Consumer Rights Directive apply.
13. Final Provisions
- •If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force
- •Failure to enforce a right does not constitute a waiver of that right
- •These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding use of the service
